Although days were hot and busy, the evenings were jammed with info and good times, too. Dinners were always a feast. Wine flowed, talk was good. Mark, Judy and Peggy got a surprise call telling of awards at the Midwest Watercolor Society. Later that week, it was announced that we couldn't be at the ceremony because we were teaching a workshop. Tony Zalucha didn't come but he sent one of his favorite dessert wines for us to enjoy. Salud! After dinner, all those present gathered to view slides or original work. Mike showed us a "red swan" painting that we had been talking about on the internet for months. We enjoyed seeing Mike's sensitive landscapes.
